Bluebeards Revenge praised for eradicating razor burn
A US men’s style magazine has praised The Bluebeards Revenge shaving cream for eradicating razor burn.
Ben Madeska, style editor at Dappered.com, admitted that he was not a great shaver, adding that his “goal was always how to make it as quick and easy as possible while minimizing blood loss”.
The style guru said he had become used to his daily dose or razor burn and rash, but was unwilling to abandon his cheap and nasty supermarket gels and foams and enter the “world of brush and lather because I didn’t want to add more time and complications”.
This made him ambivalent about trying The Bluebeards Revenge luxury shave cream. However, after just a few weeks of use, he’s now a convert.
”This is a great product and it gives me a much better shave than I ever got with the various foams and gels I tried. Razor burn is non-existent and I don’t remember the last time I nicked myself,” said Ben.
“The Bluebeards Revenge is a cream, not a soap, and it lathers up extremely well. A little goes a long way and gives a thick, long-lasting cover. It has a nice, simple, clean smell too.”
In conclusion, Ben said: “I’m still not a good shaver and I’m sure I’m not using this entirely properly, but Bluebeards Revenge is forgiving enough of a product that I’m still getting excellent results.” The full review can be read by clicking here.
Our shaving cream has also been given a glowing review by a leading wet shaving blog.
Fido’s Shaving Blog put the shaving cream to the test, and said: “As someone with a lot of creams and soaps, I’m not likely ever to find out how effective this cream is at affecting beard growth.
”But it’s a fine cream anyway. A little makes a lot of superb creamy lather that enables a pleasant smooth shave. A good quality cream – worth a try, if only to find out what all the fuss is about!”
Another men’s grooming blogger has described our shave cream as one of the best shave creams he has ever used.
Tim Voet said: “I would say this is an excellent cream, and one of the best shaving creams I’ve ever used.”

Darren Clarke gets the Bluebeard treatment!
Darren Clarke proved his ‘manly’ qualities on Sunday when he became the British Open Champion. The Northern Irish golfing hero, aged 42, beat of fierce competition from the likes of Phil Mickelson, Thomas Bjorn and Sergio Garcia, and dedicated the victory to his kids.
Clarke is the cigar smoking, Guiness drinking proof there is more than one way to make history in this crazy game of ball and club. The Bluebeards Revenge feel Clarke displays all levels of manliness by never throwing the towel in and persevering until the job was done.
He had won more than 20 tournaments around the world, but never won the big one. He had played a distinguishing role in five Ryder Cup teams, never more so than in 2006 at the K Club, when he performed brilliantly for Europe just a few weeks after the death of his wife, Heather. Yet for all that he had never gained entry into the exclusive club reserved for major champions – a unmanly injustice for a golfer acknowledged by his peers as one of the most naturally gifted of his generation. After winning the event he was dubbed the most popular Open champion ever.
We were honoured to send Darren a tub of our magnificent shaving cream to keep him looking extra sharp in the public eye, hopefully he might even share it with his flamboyant agent Chubby Chandler. We wish Darren all the best and hope he continues to win many more trophies.

Rupert Murdoch attacked with shaving-cream pie over hacking scandal
Media mogul Rupert Murdoch was attacked by a comedian brandishing a shaving cream pie today.
The attack came as Mr Murdoch fronted British MPs at a parliamentary hearing in London into the phone hacking scandal that has rocked his media empire.
The 80-year-old was seated beside his son James, 38, in front of a crowd of public spectators when a young man in a checked shirt, named as being comedian Jonathan May-Bowles, aka Jonnie Marbles, charged at him.
Luckily for Mr Murdoch his wife Wendi Deng, who was seated behind her husband, rushed to protect her man and slapped the attacker on the head moments before police rushed to subdue him.
Police then arrested Mr Marbles, a comedian and activist with the socialist group UK Uncut.
But the question still remains, was the shaving cream used today The Bluebeards Revenge? Was it the thick, luxurious lather of the world’s manliest shaving cream or was it a squirt of some cheap and nasty supermarket foam?
We will try to get to the bottom of this!!

Bluebeards Revenge helps to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society
The Bluebeards Revenge and leading Devon barbershop Tom, Dick and Harry have teamed up to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Andy Dunn, of Tom, Dick and Harry, took his razor sharp cutting skills to the Tesco store in Honiton, Devon, earlier this month.
Steve White, night manager at Tesco, succumbed to Andy’s barbers chair and had his distinctive locks chopped and his beard removed.
Customers were invited to make a small donation, with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Andy wore his very stylish Bluebeards Revenge T-shirt at the fund-raising event, where he also gave out samples of our shave cream and post shave balm.

Bluebeards Revenge Draws Up ‘Britain’s Manliest Cyclist’ Shortlist
Leading men’s grooming brand The Bluebeards Revenge’s quest to crown ‘Britain’s Manliest Cyclist’ has heated up.
In June 2011, The Bluebeards Revenge team attended the Dartmoor Classic Cycling Sportive in Kingsteignton, Devon to find individuals that displayed all the characteristics of a die hard ‘Bluebeard’, the term the firm uses to describe a “Real Man”.
Manly men from all over the UK vied for the illustrious title and the company has now shortlisted five worthy candidates for the prize.
The five shortlisted candidates are Simon Grose (Camborne, Cornwall), Richard Carus (Newton Abbott, Devon), Jason Richardson (Halifax, West Yorkshire), Joshua Bullock and Gary Clements, both from Tavistock, Devon. Entrants were picked not only on their cycling achievements, but also on what made them a ‘Real Man’.
“I am as manly as a male man in Manton on National Man Day. I am blessed with hirsute chops for which I am very proud. I am honoured to ride for Rowcroft – a hospice providing dignity and support. Cycling makes me happy especially when my face is as smooth as a babies bum!” said Richard Carus.
But Jason Richardson, from the popular mountain bike team Columbia Bikefood, explained why he should win the coveted title of Britain’s Manliest Cyclist. “You don’t get much more manly then the Columbia Bike Team or myself. If I’m not shaving, I’m on the bike riding through mountains, forest and suburbia. The team takes part in many 24 and 12 hour events just to show of our masculinity,” he said.
Justin Bullock, the brand’s marketing manager, added: “The Bluebeards Revenge is all about a really great shave with a scientifically proven, stubble-reducing ingredient – just perfect for competitive cyclists looking for that extra edge.
“Our brand also stands for the less than conventional approach to life, cocking a snoot at the nanny state and the madness that is the balls ache of endless red tape and over the top health and safety clap trap.”
The five shortlisted applicants will now go forward to a public vote, with the cyclist with the most votes winning the national competition.
To vote for your favourite cyclist, visit www.bluebeards-revenge.co.uk/manliest-cyclist. The voting period will close on August 15.
The winner will not only scoop the prestigious title of ‘Britain’s Manliest Cyclist’ but will also become the face of The Bluebeards Revenge where they would get the opportunity to star in a TV commercial, receive a Bluebeards Revenge racing jersey, a year’s supply of The Bluebeards Revenge shaving products and have £500 donated to their Club or a charity of their choice.

I love…Style, I love…Fashion, I love…the Bluebeards Revenge
The Style Rawr fashionistas have described The Bluebeards Revenge as the closest shave they have ever had on their legs.
The girls reviewed the product and came back with these choice words, “The packaging is super cute, we’re already pirate enthusiasts and the little skull and crossbones on the Doubloon Bristle Shaving Brush had us at hello and would totally look amazing in our bathrooms!” – As for The Bluebeards packaging being super cute we guessed they were just kidding. We thought it was a joke. We even wrote it down in our diary – The Style Rawr team had a very funny joke today. We laughed about it later that night.
“A little does indeed go a VERY long way (on average use a tub of The Bluebeards Revenge cream typically lasts 3-5 months, which is an absolute age compared to your usual can of £2 gel right?!) and like, one little dunk in the cream literally does a whole female body! Our legs felt soft and smooth for longer too, a girl could definitely get used to this, especially if regular use really does inhibit the hair growth – errr, yes please!!”
The fashionistas concluded by saying “YES, it may be the manliest of manly products but like a gent, it knows how to treat a lady’s curves, and as yet we have no desire to wear plaid shirts or wield a power tool so there doesn’t appear to be any side effects…
”.
The Bluebeards Team thank the girls for the glowing review but are slightly worried as where they procured a tub of the Bluebeards Revenge – The world’s manliest shaving cream. An investigation is being carried out by the team to make sure the girls bought they’re own and rumours are that phones are being hacked by a certain media mogul who sympathises with the Bluebeards cause.

Bluebeards Revenge is ‘best shave cream’ ever, says Youtube grooming sensation
British Youtube grooming sensation Jim Chapman has described The Bluebeards Revenge as the “best shave cream” he has ever used.
The style icon, whose Youtube videos have surpassed 1.5m views, went on to praise the moisturising qualities of the world’s manliest shaving cream, saying they left his skin smooth and irritation free.
Jim, who previously said he preferred gels and oils over shave cream, has been using The Bluebeards Revenge for a couple of months.
He says he previously avoided shaving creams and foams as they left his skin feeling dry, but now says he’s converted to our beard-reducing and tough stubble combating product.
Jim, who has more than 30,000 Youtube subscribers, recommends using a shave brush like our very affordable Doubloon (just £6.99), as this helps to improve the overall quality of the shave as it lifts the facial whiskers from the surface.
The grooming guru was also full of praise for the cream’s miracle ingredient Decelerine, which is designed to reduce hair growth by around 40% in 60 days.
This, effectively, means less shaving, which in turn reduces the amount of razor blade contact with the skin.
We normally offer all Bluebeards users a love life warning, but in Jim’s case, there is simply no point, as his girlfriend is the stunning makeup artist and Youtube phenomenon Tanya Burr.
Tanya has trained with and assisted some of the UK’s top make up artists and also worked for Laura Mercier and Clinique.
She runs a highly successful Youtube channel, delivering tutorials and beauty advice to thousands of viewers every day.
JIM’S VIDEO REVIEW:
The Bluebeards Revenge segment starts on about 2.27 minutes.
