Following the success of the 2013/14 Britain’s Best Shave tournament, we are pleased to announce that the 2014/15 competition is already well into the planning stages, with the final set to take place in the new and exciting setting of the first ever Barber UK, at the Birmingham NEC in May 2015.

We are hoping to see an even higher number of entrants this year, reflecting a consistent rise in standards across the barbering industry, with some highly skilful wet-shavers battling it out for the coveted title.

The event is set to be bigger and better than ever before, and as well as crowning Britain’s Best Wet Shaving Barber, the competition will take a new twist, with the top ten highest-scoring barbers going on to form a super team which will take on our friends from across the pond in a Ryder Cup-style tournament, separating the wheat from the chaff and proving once and for all who has really got what it takes to be the best.

Britain’s Best Shave 2014/15 is due to kick off in the early Autumn, and we’ll be bringing you more news as and when the plans unfold.

The event is organised by the British Barbers’ Association and will once again by sponsored by The Bluebeards Revenge.

Parsa Rad, from The Refinery in Mayfair, won the 2014 Britain’s Best Shave competition, defeating Shakar Bakani in the final.
