The wait is over, and the moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived.
This Sunday, May 25, our eight Best Shave finalists will meet inside a boxing at Barber Connect 2014, where they will battle it out for the title of Britain’s Best Wet Shaving Barber.
After eight long months of competing, waiting and honing their already impressive skills, the regional winners will go head to head in a gruelling speed shaving challenge, with the overall winner taking home £3k of grooming products and a starring role in a Bluebeards Revenge shaving commercial.
The first of the quarter finals is to begin at 10am, with heats taking place throughout the day until the grand finale taking place at 4.15pm and the winner finally crowned at 4.55pm.
Renowned industry experts Gary Machin, Gareth Clarke and Patrick Brien will be putting the eight talented barbers through their places at the event, to be held at the prestigious Celtic Manor Hotel near Newport, Wales.
The competition, which is being run by the British Barbers’ Association and The Bluebeards Revenge, has seen a record number of highly-skilled entrants this year, with the eight regional winners facing a tough fight to win their positions in the final.
Tickets for the event are selling like hot cakes, but if you fancy coming along to spectate then a few are still available at £20 from the Barber Connect ticketline, on 0800 644 0321.
The Bluebeards Revenge will have our own stall at the event, where we will be selling our products and giving out shaving tips. If you’re around, then come and say hello to us down at C3 – Even the Bluebeard-in-Chief himself will be present, so it’s an event not to be missed for Bluebeards fans.

Heat 2 @ 10.45 – Matt Cooke Vs Barri Lazarou
